ARNE SLOT claims now is not the time to judge Darwin Nunez.
Liverpool’s club-record £85million striker has yet to start under Slot and has gone 14 games without scoring for the Reds, in a run stretching back to April 4.
Nunez lost his place towards the end of last season and fell out with the fans, deleting all references to the club on his Instagram account when he grew tired of the online abuse.
Nunez is behind Diogo Jota in the battle for the No.9 role, but Slot insists he still believes in him.
The Uruguay striker is set to start on the bench again for today’s visit of Bournemouth and Slot says it is unfair to judge him until he has had time to prove himself.
