SIR IAN BOTHAM said it was “no surprise” England have snapped up Durham bowling coach Neil Killeen given the county’s outstanding record of producing fast bowlers for the national set-up.
Killeen has been appointed elite pace bowling coach, succeeding Jon Lewis, who moved on in November to head up the women’s coaching set-up.
Durham chairman Botham insisted it was a good move, with Killeen having helped develop Ben Stokes, Mark Wood, Brydon Carse and Matthew Potts in recent years.
