Holland ruthlessly ripped through Romania at will here in Munich, inspired by the brilliance and perseverance of the electric Liverpool winger.
Gakpo is now joint top goalscorer alongside Georgia's Georges Mikautadze, Germany star Jamal Musiala and Slovakia forward Ivan Schranz.
His exploits earned rave reviews from his manager after Holland reached the quarter-finals of the European Championship for the first time since 2008.
