A YOUNG mother who took her toddler to a riot in his pram has been spared jail for her part in the disorder that rocked Britain.
Nevey Smith, 21, threw water at police trying to keep order outside a hotel housing asylum seekers. Her mum Vanessa Smith, 42, was also in the mob.
Yesterday Nevey's sentencing hearing was told she had her 20-month-old son with her at the time and took part despite not knowing what an asylum seeker was.
