DAVID RAYA finally ended Arsenal's Champions League curse after he was the hero of a dramatic penalty shoot-out.
Gunners keeper Raya saved two spot kicks to send Arsenal into the quarter-finals for the first time since 2010 after a night of high drama at the Emirates. It was a night of nerves as Porto pushed all the way before eventually Arsenal came out on top to go into Friday's draw.
The whole crowd were left biting their nails but Raya celebrated wildly on what will go down as an unforgettable season for the Gunners' No.1. Arsenal were far too cautious in the first leg in Porto and paid a heavy price with a defeat in a game they should never have lost.
That was probably down to the naivety of a team which had not been on Europe's biggest stage for seven years and they certainly struggled again to find their rhythm.
Arsenal have been scoring goals for fun in the Premier League, blowing teams away with their all-out attacking style.
