Toney will be set for life but in wilderness

And the mega money will not only change Toney's life off the pitch but his career on it.

The Brentford striker looks set to swap the Premier League for the Saudi Pro League with Al-Ahli closing in on a £50million transfer.

Toney is set to be offered wages in excess of £300,000 a week which will secure his and his family's future for life.

But if Toney goes to the Saudi Pro League it could cost him his dream of playing for England at a World Cup.

And it does beg the question: is the money big enough to put his career ambitions on the back burner at 28? Toney is a prolific striker - he has scored 36 goals in 85 Premier League appearances - and has one year left on his contract at Brentford.
