ALFIE EDGELL is getting ready for a big season with Leeds Rhinos as he juggles his rugby career with a full-time degree.
The 19-year-old full-back graduated from the vaunted Headingley academy - which produced legends such as Kevin Sinfield and Rob Burrow to make his senior debut last September.
Now the boyhood Rhinos fan and Leeds United season-ticket holder is aiming to establish himself at first-team level.
Highly-rated Edgell's bow came in the final game of last season, a 46-0 home win over Castleford, and marked the realisation of a childhood dream.
He said: "I've supported the Rhinos all my life, so to now be a part of the first-team squad is surreal.
