A MAN succumbing to a fatal allergic reaction after eating pizza asked medics "Am I going to die?" an inquest into his death was told.
James Atkinson, 23, died after eating part of a chicken tikka masala pizza from a restaurant near his home, delivered by food service Deliveroo.
The inquest heard James had always been careful about what he ate since his peanut allergy was diagnosed in 2010.
Struggling to breathe, James dialled 999 at around 8.10pm on July 10, 2020.
He had been unable to find his EpiPen, the usual treatment for people suffering anaphylactic shock.
