Sunderland held in yet another stalemate for the Baggies

GOALLESS draw specialists West Brom bored their way to an away point and stalled the promotion hopes of Regis Le Bris' Sunderland side.

The Baggies racked up their FIFTH 0-0 draw in their last nine games at a grumpy Stadium of Light.

Wearside became an entertainment-free zone for the evening.

Sunderland at least tried to score and dominated possession but ended up registering their THIRD 0-0 draw in the last five games.

It was hardly a good advert for visiting manager Carlos Corberan, who has been linked with the vacant Leicester City head coach job. His side only had eight touches in the Sunderland penalty area.
