MICHAEL VAUGHAN says England's 2019 World Cup winners should be shunted towards the sunset in a "reset" of the white-ball squad.

But the former England captain and Ashes legend believes one-day coach Matthew Mott should survive any cull after their woeful campaign in India.

Vaughan urged England's Dads Army - who became a duds army on a five-match losing streak which ended their defence of the trophy - to hand a farewell present to the next generation by securing a place at the 2025 Champions Trophy.
