Fed-up Daly keen to cause Sarina problems

The Aston Villa striker spoke of her frustration at not making the starting XI in the narrow victory over Haiti after being overlooked for a spot up front.

Daly stunned the Women’s Super League by ending the campaign as the Golden Boot winner following a breakthrough season under Carla Ward, scoring 22 goals.

But it was not enough to earn her the nod in Brisbane as Alessia Russo was favoured by Wiegman instead. 

Competition for that spot as a spearhead is hot with in-form Spurs’ striker Beth England also champing at the bit. And Daly did not hide her disappointment at the final whistle.
