A NEW drug to tackle Alzheimer's has been approved in the US amid growing calls for the NHS to improve early diagnosis so Brits can benefit from the treatment.
UK regulators are still considering donanemab but could follow the US Food and Drug Administration which on Tuesday approved what is one of the world's first disease-modifying treatments for dementia.
