A HOTEL owner has revealed how she gave up her bed for The Beatles when they secretly stayed at her parents' place 59 years ago.
Gail Moss was 14 when the Fab Four came to visit Holdsworth House, on October 9, 1964, at the height of Beatlemania.
Her dad Freddie Pearson, who had turned their stately home into a club a year earlier, had persuaded their manager Brian Epstein to let the band stay during their tour of the UK.
Police roadblocks and diversions were set up around their Jacobean manor to ensure the superstars were not disturbed.
