ISRAELI special forces have launched raids in Lebanon ahead of a potential ground invasion to try to wipe out Hezbollah's rocket and missile teams.
It comes as Israel continued its air assault on the Lebanon-based militants who are bankrolled by Iran.
Israel's PM Benjamin Netanyahu warned Iran: "There is nowhere in the Middle East that Israel cannot reach." Hundreds of Israeli battle tanks have been massed at its northern border.
The nation's Defence Minister Yoav Gallant hinted at preparations for a ground offensive.
