All Gavin & Stacey fans are looking forward to the Christmas Day finale, but it will not be the last à time they see the characters.
BBC1 is to air a documentary about the making of the sitcom with behind-thescenes footage from the first day of filming through to this final instalment.
James Corden, who co-writes and stars as Smithy, says: "The documentary is based on this idea that we just had so much footage, from our first ever day, from the first Christmas special and from series two and three.
"For the 2019 Christmas special and this finale we had a film crew following the entire time.
