HIS debut season in Bavaria should be warning enough for opposition this summer.

An impressive goal return sees him take the Wembley field tomorrow night, looking for No.50 in just his 52nd game for club and country this season.

But there are two things that should really strike fear into the hearts of anyone looking to smother Harry Kane's nose for goal at the Euros - the England captain is rested and he's hungry.

Too often in the past England have arrived at a summer tournament with key players either injured or suffering the jetlag of a long season that had barely finished by the time they boarded the plane for a Euros or World Cup.

But minor injury problems late in the season saw Kane rested by Bayern Munich, meaning that by the time he came on for the final 30 minutes on Monday night at St James' Park, Kane had gone almost four weeks without competitive action.
