Blast victim, 7, remembered as man's body found in ruins

NEIGHBOURS and relatives paid tribute to a schoolboy killed in a house explosion, as a man's body was found in the ruins.

Archie York, seven, died in the early hours of Wednesday when a devastating blast reduced several properties to rubble.

Yesterday, emergency services found a man in his 30s named locally as Jason Laws dead at the scene.

Archie's parents and two-month-old brother were treated in hospital and are now staying with relatives.

Archie's aunt, Abbie York, said: "He was the most beautiful, funny and caring little boy, and his name deserves to be shouted from the rooftops.

"We all love you so much, little man. You didn't deserve this."
