SIR JIM RATCLIFFE has laid bare his vision for Manchester United - and it includes bringing glamour and success back to Old Trafford.
Speaking in depth for the first time about his plan to make United the best club in the world again, Ratcliffe pulled no punches.
The INEOS chief came out fighting following the approval of his £1.3billion deal to own 27.7 percent of the English giants.
Britain's second-richest man has ideas as big as his bank balance.
Which include winning the Premier League title again within three years, spending £1bn on revamping the tired stadium, employing the best there is in the most important positions, overhauling recruitment and challenging for the Champions League.
"The ultimate aim is just for Manchester United to play really good football," said Ratcliffe, speaking from his INEOS headquarters in London's Knightsbridge.
