Starmer: Govt must get on with law to force criminals into court for sentencing

KEIR Starmer has demanded Dominic Raab urgently changes the law to make killers attend their sentence hearing.

The Labour leader said No10 could have done that a year ago but are still dithering while families of victims are denied the chance to see murderers face justice.

He added: "We've got a government that is very keen on talking about problems and not very good at solving them. They need to get on with it. We need to change the law.
