Olly ready for his second Test debut after recovering from surgery that needed screws inserting in his back

OLLY STONE is ready to rock and roll again at Lord's having left the "dark times" behind him.

Five years after his England Test bow against Ireland, the fast bowler hopes to have the Sri Lankan batsmen jumping around at the crease.

While the Notts speedster concedes he may struggle to hit the same lightning pace of the man he is replacing in the Second Test, Mark Wood, he still believes he can be a big hit in what he describes as "a second debut".

Stone, clocked at close to 94mph, wants to prove that, despite two screws in his repaired back and with a long injury history, he can be a useful weapon in the attack.

England hope to build on their victory in the opening contest at Old Trafford by clinching the three-Test series this week.
