Kelechi and Kasey hurt Canaries and lift Leicester up to second spot

KASEY MCATEER struck late to seal another away-day victory for upwardly mobile Leicester.

Kelechi Iheanacho converted a penalty won by Stephy Mavididi before McAteer tapped home a clinching second with three minutes remaining It was a sixth straight-away win in all competitions for the Foxes, who leapfrogged Ipswich to reclaim second spot.

And it also put paid to a 100 percent home record for Norwich, who hit the bar and felt they deserved a point.

Jack Stacey, scorer of the Canaries' winner against Stoke on Saturday, forced Leicester keeper Mads Hermansen into an early save.

The Foxes retaliated, with Canaries defender Shane Duffy surviving a penalty shout for hands, before Christian Fassnacht failed to hit the target on the turn at the other end.
