THE heartbroken brother of Steve Wright said he knew he "could have looked after himself better".
Laurence Wright, 65, also denied claims that the BBC's decision to axe him from his long-running Radio 2 afternoon show contributed to his death, revealing the veteran DJ was "thankful" for the rest.
Radio great Steve died this week at the age of 69, after police and paramedics had been called to a flat in the Marylebone area of Central London on Monday. His death was "unexpected" but not suspicious, say police.
