REGARDLESS of whether Manchester City win a Treble, a Double, a single, or nothing at all, Erling Haaland will sweep all before him when it comes to individual awards in the English game for the 2022-23 season.

Rightly so. He has been little short of phenomenal, adding a dimension - not just to City but to the Premier League - that few have seen before.

His belligerence has been a breath of fresh air, he is exciting to watch, and that is priceless.

For those who like to deal in statistics, his are exceptional, 51 goals and counting across all competitions.

But while his team's statistics are also exceptional, they are, in the context of City's frightening form over a series of seasons, pretty much what we have come to expect.

The current Premier League table shows City have won 26 of their 34 games, have accrued 82 points, scoring 89 goals and conceding 31.
