There is no support for victims.... this is a horrible, meaningless way to live

A MANCHESTER Arena bombing survivor says a lack of support in the attack's aftermath has left her a prisoner in her own home.

Joanne McSorley, 50, is disabled due to injuries sustained on the horrific night of May 22, 2017.

Living with chronic pain and depression, the mum of two is still waiting for compensation and says there has been no support to help rebuild her life.

She said: "At the beginning, I thought help would come because we were collateral damage of a high-profile terror attack.

"But I've been left with nothing. I'm dependent on everyone I don't leave the house.

"This is a horrible, horrible, meaningless way to live. I'm not living. I'm just existing."
