Gaza 'deadliest place for aid work'
THE seven charity workers killed by blundering İsraeli forces yesterday paid the ultimate price for their selfless acts as they took food to starving Palestinians.
Three Brits, James Henderson, 33, John Chapman, 57, both former Royal Marines and James Kirby were among the dead.
It is believed Henderson and Chapman were working as security escorting the three-car aid convoy in central Gaza when it was blasted in a targeted airstrike by three missiles fired from a drone.
Australian Zomi Frankcom, 43, Pole Damian Sobol, a Canadian and Palestinian driver Saif Abu Taha also died in the attack, which led one charity group to declare Gaza the deadliest place on the planet for aid workers.
Tributes were paid to the victims, alongside global condemnation of Israel over the deaths of the innocent charity staff who were working for non-profit outfit World Central Kitchen in a "deconflicted" zone.
They were in cars clearly marked in large stickers WCK.
Rishi Sunak branded the attack "appalling and labour leader Keir Starmer said it was "unacceptable".
The White House condemned the airstrike as "outrageous".
