LEON SMITH says Jack Draper will be an important Davis Cup player for "many years to come" after confirming he could be involved with Great Britain today.
Draper, 22, was due to arrive at Manchester's AO Arena yesterday afternoon, four days after his defeat against Jannik Sinner at the US Open.
The British No.1 struggled physically during the semi-final encounter, with anxiety and the humid conditions causing him to vomit several times on court.
