Arteta insists Gunners want to silence pundits who've given the title to City

MIKEL ARTETA has warned Arsenal are out for "revenge" after their title race wobble.

The table-toppers are in danger of losing the initiative to Manchester City after surrendering two-goal leads and dropping four valuable points in back-to-back draws with Liverpool and West Ham.

That has made City favourites to retain their crown, but Arteta is convinced his players will react strongly against Southampton tonight after being written off following their recent setbacks.

The Gunners boss said: "I see a sense of revenge and determination to get it even better and that it's not enough, that you have to tweak it and demand more and more of each other. You can tell from the way they talked, the way they communicated in the meetings we had. The discussions to understand how we move forward.
