A PRIMARY school plagued by raw sewage floods, leaking roofs and broken heating has been waiting nearly 10 years for the Government to help fix the problems, say staff.
But the miserable conditions at Russell Scott Primary in Denton, Manchester, are not unique.
Another school is "sinking into the ground" and a third is so cold "you can see your breath" indoors.
The shocking state of schools is revealed after a Mirror probe last year exposed the scale of dangerous bubbly reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete in buildings.
Russell Scott head Steve Marsland said staff have put down sandbags and emptied buckets of rainwater but the school has had to close six or seven times since 2015.
