GLENN MIDDLETON reckons fearless Dundee United can start a special period at Tannadice.
Jim Goodwin’s side are gearing up for their Premiership comeback having charged back to the top flight at the first attempt after relegation last year.
Middleton believes the boost from strongly winning the Championship title has built confidence and excitement for the new term.
The 24-year-old hopes momentum can maintain the upturn in fortunes and kickstart an outstanding spell for the club.
Middleton said: “There is no need to fear anything going into next year.
“You go into a game, everyone will be positive.
“It could be a new Dundee United, the start of something special, hopefully.
“As a club and as a team, we are more than capable of competing to our level, where we set our realistic targets.
