EXCLUSIVE GOALIE'S PRIVATE MEMORIAL - WE'LL PLANT TREE IN ANDY'S MEMORY

RANGERS legend Andy Goram's loved ones are set to mark the first anniversary of his death by planting a tree at his favourite beauty spot.

His family and friends revealed the tribute prior to the first anniversary of his death tomorrow.

The Ibrox hero lost his battle with cancer on July 2, 2022.

The Scotland goalkeeper was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer just months earlier.

His former wife Miriam Wylie yesterday told how arrangements were being made to plant a cherry blossom tree in a popular site in Scotland that Goram cherished.

It comes as his son Danny prepares to marry his fiancée Chelsea next week. Goram and Miriam married in 2001 but split in 2004.

But the pair remained friends and she helped care for him as he fought his illness.

Goram passed away on what would have been their 21st wedding anniversary.
