WEATHER warnings have been issued for flooding and heavy rain today as the nation’s Easter holiday washout continues.
The alerts came as Glasgow and Edinburgh remained swamped from recent downpours.
And heavy rain “stalling” over western Scotland today is expected to cause flooding from the Isle of Skye to Dumfries and Galloway.
Tomorrow is forecast to offer respite but Friday is looking wet again before more unsettled weather rolls in for the weekend.
The Scottish Environment Protection Agency 12 flood alerts and nine more serious flood warnings.
