ANTHONY JOSHUA has piled on the pounds and declared he’s ready for war with Jermaine Franklin tonight.
The bulked-up Brit tipped the scales at his career-heaviest 18st 3lbs a pound more than he’s ever weighed before ahead of the showdown with the American at London's 02.
But it is almost a whopping 11lbs more than he was for his last loss against Oleksandr Usyk as he looks to get his career back on track and revive hopes of a Tyson Fury showdown.
Joshua, 33, said: I've got my gameplan, I've got my mind right, I am ready for war.
“I know can knock him out but I follow the process.”
Joshua stepped on the scales in front of hundreds of adoring fans at Westfield in Shepherd's Bush yesterday as he prepares to return to the ring for the first time since a third career loss against Usyk.
At a pound more than he was for his 2017 win over Carlos Takam, it suggests AJ is going for a KO tonight.
