BLAIR KINGHORN admitted his error had contributed to Edinburgh's defeat on his last home appearance before a big-money move to Toulouse.
The full-back scored two tries - but a loose pass close to his own line ensured Edinburgh were denied the win that would've sent them top of the URC table.
Kinghorn said: "That was raw and disappointing. We were on top most of the game then let in some soft points and the mistake from me near the end cost the team.
"Looking back the offload was too risky and it was a bad decision that cost us seven points and the game. It wasn't how I wanted it to end."
But Sean Everitt refused to brand the Edinburgh saint as a sinner. The gaffer said: "Blair did extremely well under the high ball he had a good game tonight.
"You can't fault him on one mistake because then you've got to fault everyone.
