LEWIS Capaldi has cancelled all tour dates "for the foreseeable future".
In what he called "the most difficult decision of my life", the Scots singer released a statement yesterday which said his performance at Glastonbury at the weekend made it "obvious that I need to spend much more time getting my mental and physical health in order, so I can keep doing everything I love for a long time to come".
The Glasgow-born singer, 26, began to experience Tourette's symptoms during his set and as his tics got worse and he had to stop with the huge crowd taking over and singing the song.
Lewis was diagnosed with the neurological condition in 2022 and revealed how much he suffered from it in his Netflix documentary How I'm Feeling Now.
At the start of this month Lewis took a three-week break to focus on his mental health before Glastonbury.
But after struggling with his voice during his Pyramid stage performance on Saturday, he has cancelled all his gigs for the rest of the year, including two nights at the Royal Highland Centre outside Edinburgh.
In a heartfelt social media post he wrote: "First of all, thank you to Glastonbury for having me, for singing along when I needed it and for all the amazing messages afterwards. It really does mean the world.
