AN INVESTIGATION has uncovered a horrific catalogue of violent incidents in Scotland's prisons in the past year.
After a freedom of information request by the Scottish Lib Dems it was revealed there were more than 1500 prisoner-on-prisoner assaults and 265 attacks on staff last year.
And in the last three years, there have been 4786 con-on-con incidents, with 895 involving staff.
