OUR PARTY SEASON IS STILL SOME WAY OFF

RANGERS lapped up their moment in the Hampden spotlight and no wonder.

The dozen years in between the bookends of Sunday's Viaplay Cup win and the club's last Nikica Jelavic-inspired success in the competition have involved a level of turmoil and trauma no Ibrox fan will ever be able to forget.

Be it on the pitch, in the stands or on the new balcony that overlooks the Copland Road end back at base, you could see the players stopping to take it all in.
