A FORMER Scottish Green leader who quit the party after 30 years will vote Labour at the next general election.

Robin Harper, who was also the first Green MSP, said he believes many people think his former party has "lost the plot."

And the 82-year-old said he is going to vote for Keir Starmer's party as it is the only way to get rid of the Tories and has offered to help.

Harper, 82, resigned from the Scottish Greens after disagreeing with their support for independence and position on trans rights.
