A NURSERY teacher was diagnosed with leukaemia after going to see a pharmacist who battled the disease herself.
Natalie Forrest was suffering from a week-long sore throat, high temperature and urine infection when she went to collect antibiotics from her local chemist in Uddingston, Lanarkshire.
The pharmacist on shift, who had suffered leukaemia, urged Natalie to go back to her GP immediately to be tested.
