After posting 90-0 in an interrupted innings reduced to 10 overs, the Saltires were bang in contention to repeat their historic 2018 victory - especially when their rivals were set a revised target of 109.
But the rain returned in Barbados before the Scottish bowlers could deliver a single ball to press home their advantage.
