Sudanese dad and kids join mum in Scotland

A MUM living in Glasgow has been reunited with her remaining family from war-torn Sudan after a decade apart.

Kaltouma Ibrahim, who lost three kids during the conflict, was granted leave to remain in the UK in 2019.

Last year the PA news agency said she had not seen husband Hassan, son Nasir or daughter Awadia since they were separated 10 years ago.

At the time she was waiting for a decision on whether she could bring her family to Scotland.

Hassan and their two kids have since been granted permission to live in the UK and moved to Glasgow to be together after a campaign led by the Church of Scotland.
