RICHIE RAMSAY kept frustrations under wraps after a sore Friday finish.

The Scot slipped to three-over par after bunker hell over the closing holes.

Ramsay dropped three shots in the last three holes and seemed irritated in stages of the late setbacks.

But the Aberdonian kept his counsel on precise reasons when quizzed.

He said: "I can expand on it, but the members here are very welcoming so I won't expand on it. It's nothing to do with them.

"One of the things I want to do when I finish playing is go into architecture. I've studied work and what I feel is really good work and what is not-so-good work.

"But, like I say, the members here have been really good. I came down in March and they were incredibly welcoming.
