PASCAL GROSS bagged a last-gasp winner as Euro 2024 hosts Germany put in a lacklustre dress rehearsal for Scotland next week by coming from a goal down to edge Greece.

While the Germans will probably have their game faces on next Friday, Steve Clarke's men did get a glimmer of hope as their Euros opening-night foes didn't appear to be ready despite putting out their strongest side against the Greeks.

Brighton ace Gross fired in the winner in the 89th minute as the Germans showed they still have room for improvement ahead of the tournament opener.

In an error-ridden first half performance, the hosts often lost possession, with the Greeks carving out a golden chance in the sixth minute.
