AMBER Gibson’s brother Connor contacted the Daily Record after her murder claiming he wanted “everyone to know what she was really like” and paid glowing tributes to her online.
But Connor Gibson’s attempts to appear like a grieving family member were a total sham – as he had in fact brutally murdered and sexually assaulted her just days before getting in touch with our journalist.
In a chilling exchange of texts, Gibson masqueraded as a grieving brother as he MESSAGES Two of Gibson’s texts to our reporter demanded a face-to-face interview just days after murdering 16-year-old Amber.
Her body was discovered in a wooded area near Cadzow Glen in Hamilton on the morning of November 28, 2021, two days after she had been reported missing.
Gibson asked our reporter to meet him at a chip shop in East Kilbride on December 2 – but he failed to show.
It was later confirmed that a 19-year-old man had been arrested in connection with Amber’s murder. That man was Gibson.
