HARRY KANE admits England have been given a "wake-up call" but insists they can still win the Euros this summer.
The Three Lions endured a dreadful send-off before flying out to Germany with a defeat to Iceland on Friday.
But Kane insists they have time to improve before Sunday's first group game with Serbia - and they have the "hunger" to go all the way.
The England captain said: "This could be a nice wake-up call for everyone to realise it is not going to be as easy as people think.
"There is a lot of work to do. We fell below our standards without the ball and that is something we have to review and get better with.
"There probably wasn't enough hunger in the duels. You have to be moire clinical, sustain the pressure and really suffocate teams.
"I have said many times to judge us on the tournament form.
"Of course there will be some noise about Iceland but there is a lot of optimism from the fans and rightly so.
