ONE of the country's biggest vape retailers is calling on the Scottish Government to follow the UK's crackdown on illegal sales to youths.
Plans announced by the UK Government yesterday include local enforcement squads made up of trading standards officers to carry out test purchases in shops.
Vape starter kits will also be offered to one million smokers in an innovative "swap to stop" scheme.
Edinburgh-based firm VPZ wants the Scottish Government to introduce similar plans.
