Watson: We don't fear Celts.. we've already beaten them

DAVID WATSON insisted Kilmarnock will go into their Celtic clash with no fear – knowing they have already beaten Brendan Rodgers’ side this season. 

Killie caused a major shock when they knocked the treblechasing Hoops out of the last 16 of the Viaplay Cup and Watson believes that will give Derek McInnes’ side confidence they can do it again at Rugby Park in the Premiership on Sunday.

Watson is suspended for the game but was delighted to send Killie into it on a high – after they registered their first away win in the league, at Aberdeen, and rejoined the top six.

The 18-year-old said: “I’m suspended, so it’s not ideal, but I know the boys will be going into it confident. We beat Celtic at the start of the season.
