JIMMY THELIN has begun a new managerial Don at Pittodrie with his Aberdeen revolution kicking off.

Now the Swede will look to crank up the club's transfer activity to get new faces added for pre-season from June 24.

Director of football Steven Gunn and his scouting staff have been working on multiple targets, which started when Thelin was still at Elfsborg.

While their departures are still to be announced, it is looking increasingly likely he'll have big spaces to fill.

Kelle Roos is likely to leave and another keeper is needed to battle with Ross Doohan.

Iceland international Hakon Valdimarsson, whom Thelin worked with at Elfsborg and is now at Brentford, is a target he would like to take on loan.

Rangers' Robby McCrorie is another the Dons are keen on. He is in the last year of his deal but wants to play to force his way into the Scotland mix.
