A HEAVILY pregnant nurse has died in a tragic road crash just two days after celebrating at her baby shower.
Mum-of-two Eve Brown's Kia Sorento collided with a Tesco HGV lorry on the M8, near to Hermiston Gait, Edinburgh, on Monday.
Emergency services rushed to the scene but the 41-year-old was pronounced dead there.
Eve, from Bellshill in Lanarkshire, had two daughters, aged three and four.
It is not known if her unborn child survived the crash.
NHS worker Eve had been pictured celebrating her pregnancy at a baby shower with friends and family on Saturday. In photos from the party, she can be seen smiling in a sequin blue dress and posing with her baby bump.
Heartfelt tributes have since been paid by devastated friends who told of their shock.
Udoka Chinwe said: "How do we say farewell? How do we say rest in peace?
