ANTHONY MCGORDON ON SCOTLAND RADAR

SCOTLAND want Newcastle forward Anthony Gordon to switch allegiances and commit his international future to the Tartan Army.

The 22-year-old was born on Merseyside but qualifies for the Scots via his paternal grandparents.

Gordon has been capped by England at various age group levels and was player of the tournament in the summer when the Young Lions won the European Under-21s Championship.

The Scottish FA have always known he was eligible to play for them but had assumed he would be out of reach.
