FEELING bored is good for us, a brain boffin has claimed.
Professor James Danckert says we should see boredom as a "call to do something different" - instead of getting down in the dumps - as it could propel us into being geniuses.
The cognitive neuroscientist gave the example of Jimi Hendrix who transformed into a guitar god after getting bored with playing the same old chords.
